Inetum and ITI launch Ecomov for a more sustainable and efficient transport in the Valencian Community

The newspaper Alicante Plaza has featured the launch of Ecomov, the new data space designed to transform mobility and passenger transport in the Valencian Community. Driven by Inetum and ITI, the platform is designed as a large collaborative ecosystem for secure data sharing.

Smart Exchange for Greater Efficiency

In its report, Alicante Plaza highlights that Ecomov will connect public administrations, private transport operators, and citizens to optimize intermodal transport. By centralizing and analyzing real-time data, the system will enable:

  • Reduced waiting times: Adjust transport frequencies based on real demand.
  • Road sustainability: Design efficient routes that reduce emissions and congestion.
  • Informed decision-making: Provide institutions with evidence-based public transport policies.

Key Collaborators

The initiative has the active participation of transport operator Vectalia and is institutionally promoted by the Generalitat Valenciana. The project is financially backed by the European Union through Retech / NextGenerationEU funds, consolidating the regional commitment to ecological and digital transition.
